About

I’m 27 from Houston Texas and I do not ride horses. I love saying that because when I mention to people I’m from Houston, they usually ask:

How does it feel to ride horses everyday?

or

Do you ride a horse to work?

Actually, I’ve never rode a horse in my life! I laugh about telling them that part because their reactions are usually:

WHAT? REALLY?

If you’ve ever been to Houston, Texas, then you may know this:

1. You may not ever see a horse in the city!
2. It’s always very hot!
3. It’s always very humid!
4. Winter only last 30 – 45 days and lowest average is 58 degrees
5. You may need a jacket and shorts in the same day, just come prepared!

Just a little humor I have about my city!

Enough about my city, now on to me and my blog!

I named my blog: Nifty Energetic Nice Extrovert – NeNe
NeNe is a nickname that my late uncle named me as little girl, and those four words I feel describes me the best and this is what my blog is about – Me! Well maybe some other things to!

So I was raised in a dysfunctional family. The repercussions of psychological, emotional, and physical abuse, sustained during my childhood, nearly shattered my life. Living my private pain and her uncle’s tragic public death by execution galvanized my interest in the law and the workings of the legal system. In December, 2008, I graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. In the interim, I sued one of the nation’s largest corporate entities after being falsely accused of committing a felony while on its premises. A sizeable award ensued from the verdict in her favor. I define my success and personal accomplishments by my relationships with loved ones and supporters, most notably my mother, siblings, and fiancé.

I published my very first book: The Real Verdict, that details my life to every extent, without missing one thing.

I love to write my thoughts and read the thoughts of others! Send me reads. I love to give my opinion on the books I read but I’m not a book reviewer, just a happy reader. I hope to inspire someone one day. I don’t care much for negativity but I can agree to disagree. Anything I missed you just have to read my blog! I hope you enjoy my writings! There’s more to come!
